Lending Director
Declan has over 10 years’ experience in design, construction and development, having previously held roles in architecture, project management and development monitoring. He is an ARB registered architect and member of the Royal Institute of British Architects, while also holding a number of qualifications including recently completing an MSc in Property Finance at the University of Westminster. Previously, Declan has worked at Gardiner & Theobald, Cushman & Wakefield and architects MoreySmith. His experience acting on behalf of private clients, commercial occupiers and institutional funders as designer, project manager and funding monitor, allows a holistic understanding of the complete development cycle.

Working within the Development Finance team, Rowan joined Zorin Finance as a Lending Analyst in 2025. His responsibilities include financial analysis, modelling, credit underwriting, and the preparation of loan proposals. Rowan has over five years’ experience in the financial services industry, including four years specialising in property finance. Prior to joining Zorin, he worked within the Property Finance team at ASB Bank in New Zealand, where he gained broad experience across investment and development lending, managing a diverse portfolio of commercial property loans. This experience provided him with a strong understanding of lending risk and real estate fundamentals, which he brings to his current role at Zorin. Rowan holds a conjoint degree from the University of Auckland, graduating with a BA in Economics and a BCom in Finance.

Max joined Zorin as a Lending Analyst in August 2024, supporting the Investment Loan origination team with the evaluation, modelling, and presentation of loan applications. Prior to joining Zorin, Max was an Associate in the Valuations & Modelling team at Evelyn Partners, where he provided valuation advice to international clients for restructuring, capital raising, and financial reporting purposes. He also gained internship experience in debt origination at PIMCO Prime Real Estate, focusing on investment and development financing across Europe. Max holds a BSc Hons in Economics from the University of Birmingham.

Her career spans the underwriting, acquisition, investment management, restructuring and resolution of performing and non-performing debt and equity instruments, NPLs and physical real estate across approximately $20 billion nominal of transactions in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Switzerland and Poland.

Prior to joining Zorin, Michael was a Director in the commercial real estate team of Allied Irish Bank (GB), managing relationships with a number of commercial investment and residential development clients. Michael has over 25 years’ banking experience holding positions in AIB Capital Markets, DVB Bank London and Banca Popolare di Milano. During this time, he gained a wide exposure into corporate banking, project finance, syndications and distressed debt in the UK and several international jurisdictions.

Aminah’s responsibilities at Zorin include the underwriting and execution of new loans as well as the ongoing management of the current loan book. Her experience in development finance spans origination, loan closing and credit. Previously she worked for a specialist residential development lender and spent 5 years at HSBC Private Bank specialising in credit analysis and the structuring and management of large residential real estate transactions for international clients. In addition to a degree in International Relations and Middle Eastern Studies from Mount Holyoke College, MA, she has a legal background having completed her Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course.

Perminder has over 15 years of banking and financial services experience with a particular focus on real estate finance. Prior to joining Zorin Finance, he held a senior role for an alternative lender focusing on loan execution and portfolio management. Having worked for both traditional banks and multiple alternative lenders his experience within loan execution, credit analysis, portfolio management and client relationships allows for a wide understanding of the whole real estate lending lifecycle. Perminder has also recently completed a MSc in Quantity Surveying from Northumbria University.
